Go Ask Alice

Standard

This book started out for me as just a simple summer reading assignment. It has become so much more.

The book itself is a simple diary from a teenage girl in a world of drugs. This book written decades ago is still so strong.

It means something personal to me. Friends. So many friends. The ones I’ve lost. The ones I am trying to help.

I asked a friend of mine why he uses drugs. he told me:

Its kinda hard to explain. When I get high… It’s an escape. I don’t have to stress out.

Go Ask Alice proves this to be all too true. If you haven’t read it, I think you should.
